When aspiring writer Lisa and reclusive computer programmer Ally bond online through Lisa's writing, it is their mutual interests and desires that spur them to meet. Fast friends, with benefits, things start to go awry as they find friendship may not be enough.


A graphic novel that balances levity and seriousness, the story of Ally and Lisa explores and describes both BDSM and LGBTQIA relationships in a wry and honest way. The artwork of writer/artist Stjepan Šejić balances comic abstraction with realism, and the red heavy colouring is bold and clear. Following Ally and Lisa, their friends and associates, Sunstone Book One (volumes 1, 2 and 3) sets the stage for their intertwining stories and their own ongoing plots.
